| We may not agree on things like the best pizza toppings or which restraurant cooks up the best steak but one thing we can probably all agree on is that these are tricky markets. After so many investors had huge losses earlier in the year now they are looking at some recovery. The numbers from the March bottom look good and the blood has stopped flowing but it seems like no one can agree on the market directing for the coming months. For some investors this may be the right time to pack all your investment capital up and send it on a Bank Certificate of Deposit or Investmenst grade bond or Money Market account vacation. The kind of no or low risk vacation that might look good to a lot of investors right now. The downside of sending you investment capital on vacation is that it may only earn around 2% annual return. That would be like you telling your boss you want to go on vacation for the rest of the year. He might say okay, go ahead and takle the time off but his next call will be to the payroll department where your paychecks will probably stop while you are gone. It’s the same with your investment capital… You can send it on vacation but don’t expect to make much money while its away. If our past Portfolio results are any indication there may be a better way to play these tricky markets. Read on for the details and my special 90 Day Free Trial offer or click here to learn more. With our InvestorsKeyhole service my team and I hunt down the right stocks and the best strategies to play those stocks. Each trade we identify always has some downside protection to limit risk and if the investment behaves as we expect returns are respectable. Not brag-to-all-your -friends-at-the-next -cocktail-party respectable but quietly-watch-your-portfolio-rebuild-over-time respectable. And… Our InvestorsKeyhole service results have just come in for May… We have been running this service since 2002 and for May we hit a near perfect 97.5% investment success rate. And all these wining investments raked in at least $200 each. Some even banked $900. You do the math. With our targeted 60 trades each month generating at least $200 each… That’s $12,000. And last month we hit 77 profitable trades. Curious how we did it? Hint... The InvestorsKeyhole service doesn’t use tiny no-name stocks. These were plays on stocks like Apple (AAPL), Amazon (AMZN), International Business Machines (IBM), Eli Lilly (LLY), Microsoft (MSFT) and A. T. & T (T). Some with annualized returns over 300%. That’s triple your money. Read on for the details on how we hit that 300%+ number and the details on how you can start getting these valuable daily market reports FREE for the next 90 days. If you want to learn more about the InvestorsKeyhole daily service there is a Snapshot section with more details at the end of this eMail. First let’s look at those May Investors Keyhole Service results in more detail... When it comes to money and investing we think the details are important. If Benjamin Graham were sitting here next to me he would want to see all the numbers on everything we did last month. That’s why we take the time to show these results in detail. Our InvestorsKeyhole daily service provided 79 investment ideas with expiration in May and 97.5% of those were winners. But of course, you know our company policy... We report the results on all investments, not just the winning ones. So here's what happened in May: - Of the 79 investment ideas identified by InvestorsKeyhole, 77 ended with a profit and 2 lost money. That’s an 97.5% hit rate.
- Of the 77 winners, the return rate varied from 0.4% to 39.5%. With an 11.80% average return. (these are actual not annualized numbers.)
This is for investments that lasted from 7 to 87 days with an average of 36 days. As you can see there is no day trading in this portfolio but we try to structure the trades to take advantage of medium term market moves. - If you annualize those returns for comparison purposes, that would be 3.5% to 869%. And there were 51 investments with over a 100% annualized return rate. That means that on an annualized basis these were double-your-money trades.
We need to repeat here again that these are not paper, watch-the-stock-go-up-then-crash, profits that live only on a brokerage statement somewhere. These are cash-in-hand profits. All 77 of these winning trades were closed for a profit. Most any investor can hit the occasional winner. We’re sure you know someone who bought some hot biotech stock at 1.25 then sold when it hit 12.50. But InvestorsKeyhole uses a diversified group of investments. We didn’t do this with just one or two big stocks or even in just a few sectors. We like diversification… And... The InvestorsKeyhole Service has consistently turned in winning investments since 2002. You can go HERE to see all stats on all the trades ever provided by the service. Let’s look a little closer at the real return rates for those May winners: The 72 winners break out like this: - 49 resulted in over a 10% return
- 14 resulted in over a 15% return
- 4 resulted in over a 20% return
NOTE: These are actual returns not annualized. And all the returns shown here do not include commissions or taxes. You always have to pay your broker and you know what happens when you don’t pay Uncle Sam. Out of the 79 total investments: - 14 bet that the stock would not rise that much
- 65 bet that the stock would not drop like a stone
We try to play both sides of the market where it makes sense. InvestorsKeyhole is not just a fair weather service. And the InvestorsKeyhole adjusts itself to market condition to maximize returns and minimize potential losses in any market. We can quickly modify our strategies as needed. These results show that with the right stocks and strategies there are ways to win in up, down, or flat markets. All of the InvestorsKeyhole investments have a built in hedge or cushion, so that even if the stock goes against us we still win. The cushion on our trades varied from 6.62% to 42.5%. That’s right, for one of the InvestorsKeyhole ideas the stock could have move against us up to 42.5% and we would have made our full profit. That stock was Wells Fargo (WFC). We were cautious on the banking sector but even with that much margin for error we made 14.3% on that one over 36 days. In case you’re wondering that’s a 144.8% annualized return for comparison purposes. Read on for a list of some of the other the stocks that popped up in the InvestorsKeyhole and how much we made on them... Some of the stocks we played that gave us the highest returns were: - Disney (DIS) for 11.1% return.
- Toll Brothers (TOL) for 9.1% return. (We bet this stock would not rise)
- Google (GOOG) for 4.2% return.
- J.C. Penney (JCP) for 18.0% return.
- Goldman Sachs (GS) for 17.4% return.
The return for these big winners were over a period no more than 53 days so if you annualize these that’s up to a 217% return. We give those annualized return numbers so you can compare these with other investments you might be considering. But to balance this out, we have to cover those two nasty losers from last month, too. We had two investments out of the seventy-nine that went against us. Those bad boys moved farther and faster than expected. We hate being wrong, but 2 out of 79 ain't bad. Even Benjamin Graham could be impressed by that. By the way, those stocks that didn’t behave as we expected were Amazon (AMZN) and Whirlpool (WHR) . AMZN Dropped unexpectedly and WHR shot up so far that even the 37.6% cushion we built in couldn’t save us. Sorry we can’t be right 100% of the time.
