1) The Three Golden Rules Of Holiday Re-Gifting + Lee’s take on WMT, SHLD, JCP, TSCO, MMM, MSFT, GE, JPM, GM, F, PSA, GD, TUP, MVSN, and EBAY

It’s that time of year again when you scramble through places like Wal-Mart (WMT), Sears (SHLD), J. C. Penney’s (JCP), and the Tractor Supply Store (TSCO) in search of perfect gifts for those friends, loved ones, and relatives that populate your holiday list.  Face it, this may be the only time of year you see these people and the gift you give them will certainly be remembered.

Most people will judge your gift using three clear criterion:  1) Is it something they will use? 2) Is Britney Spears on the cover?  3)  Who can I re-gift this piece of junk to?

People don’t want to think of themselves as materialistic, but watch the cheery look on their faces as they open a gift bag and find a fruitcake with the freshness date back in 1964. The last thing running through their mind is, “it’s the thought that counts.”

Nope; they are going through their mental gift list for next year and deciding who they can re-gift this wonderful antique fruitcake to next year.
