What’s Happening In The Market Now... The market gave back some of its recent gains, heading down at the open this morning. The latest round of profit warnings and job cuts rolled on, after Texas Instruments (TXN) and FedEx (FDX) cut their forecasts and Sony (SNE) said it plans to cut 8,000 jobs in its electronics division. The National Association of Realtors Pending Home Sales Index, based on contracts signed in October, slipped 0.7 percent to 88.9 from an upwardly revised reading of 89.5 in September. Sectors starting the day out strong include auto retail, healthcare facilities and drug retail while air freight & logistics, real estate services, food retail and REITs are down. Volume leaders include Ford Motor Company (F), Dryships Inc (DRYS), Texas Instruments (TXN), JP Morgan Chase and Co (JPM) and Genworth Financial Inc (GNW).
