What’s Happening In The Market Now... Stocks opened higher this morning with oil falling and speculation that Lehman Brothers (LEH) could be sold. Investors are also awaiting a speech by Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke, who is scheduled to appear at the Kansas City Fed's annual economic symposium in Jackson Hole, WY this morning. Investors will be looking for insight into the current state of the banking system. Sectors starting the day out strong include airlines, banks and automobiles while forestry, iron & steel and coal are down. Volume leaders include Lehman Brothers Holdings Inc (LEH), Bank of America Corporation (BAC), Ford Motor Company (F), China Sunergy Company Ltd (CSUN) and NetApp Inc (NTAP).
